Cakebread Cellars & Candlelight

Thank you to those who came to our winemaker event, “Cakebread and Candlelight” at the Bungalow Restaurant in Newport Beach. 40 guests enjoyed a decadent 5-course meal, paired with their favorite Cakebread Wines. Because of you, The Southern California Hospice Foundation netted over $20,000 benefitting our Heavenly Home Project!

Opening in 2021, the Heavenly Home is the first-of-its-kind residential, end-of-life care home in Orange County. Providing physical and spiritual support in a home-like setting, the Heavenly Home will offer facilities and caregiving to those facing their final journey, giving families the freedom to focus on the things that matter most.

Your participation and continued support, has allowed the Southern California Hospice Foundation to elevate the lives of patients and their families who are struggling with end-of-life issues. Please know how much we appreciate you! Thank you again for helping us to bring dignity and hope to those embarking on their final journey.

Preserving Dignity: July 8, 2026 | Online Collaborative Giving Day

Join us in helping Preserve the Dignity of the Dying.

On July 8, 2026, the Southern California Hospice Foundation will participate in Preserving Dignity, a 24-hour online giving day led by the Orange County Community Foundation. This powerful community fundraiser brings together nonprofits and supporters across Orange County to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those they serve.

Supporters are invited to create their own personal fundraising page and share why hospice care matters to them. Whether you have experienced hospice through a loved one or simply believe in the importance of compassionate end-of-life care, your voice and story can inspire others to give. Our team will guide you through the simple process of creating and sharing your page, and we are always available to answer questions along the way.

Each year, the generosity of this community helps provide comfort, dignity, and peace to the patients and families we serve.

All funds raised will support The Heavenly Home, ensuring continuity of care and helping us fulfill our promise that no patient ever dies alone.
